Case: Dial: Movement: Provenance: 19?? - Haas Neveux, Geneve 2023 - Jones Horan auction, 07/12/2023, sold $900, "EPW - Haas Neveux & Cie (signed as registered "H.N.C." trademark within case), Swiss, high grade very thin dress watch, 44mm, 5.8mm front/rear thickness with crystal included, 18K gold OF original case with beautiful engraving detail and blue enamel circular inlays to bezel and rear, crown with sapphire cabochon, "Ralph Dewey, Paris - New - York" marked engine turned silvered dial, SW-SS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, 18-19J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#59337 with matching serial number within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 23.8 dwt (37.0 g). An elegant and very eye-catching dress watch. From the collection of Ethan Lipsig. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered micro-fine scratches; dial with some fine scratches and surface spots in visible portion, some darkening near 1; excellent hands; case shows hardly any wear, ding to edge of bezel and adjacent portion of band at 6, superb engraving detail, blue enamel virtually fully intact with tiny flake to lower-left of small central circle of rear; crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal with glue excess at its seat."
