Jones Horan auction 25/01/2024 sold $650, "EPW - B. Haas J'ne, Paris, 39mm, 14K gold (tested) original demi-HC with restored blue guilloche enamel to front and rear, rear with beautiful diamond inset monogram initials, signed gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-button-set, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, 17J, fausses-cĂ´tes pattern nickel damascene, s#6300 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 31.6 dwt (49.2 g). CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, cloudy plates with scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, marring to portions of balance cock and to escape wheel bridge, fine scratch striations to winding components from a past sanding, oxide to regulator assembly and few spots to ratchet wheel; visible portion of dial with edge chip at 4:30, some bits of dried glue on surface along edges; excellent hands, seconds-hand is a different shade of gold from hour and minute; case shows medium wear, enamel with extensive newer hard enamel repairs, front enamel with large chip missing between 5 and 7 that has been painted so as to be less noticeable, rear enamel detail is fully intact but is entirely modern hard enamel, missing at least three diamonds, case front lift spring is not making contact with lid through final portion of opening range allowing lid to tip slightly back toward closed with gravity, opened case rear and cuvette fall closed freely with gravity; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass inner crystal, missing demi-HC crystal."
